Prince Llewellyn is said to be the last of the true Welsh princes. We are surrounded by the many fascinating places associated with this historic figure. Places like ‘Llewellyn’s Cave’ close to the village, where it is said that the Prince spent maybe his last night hidden in this tiny cave nestling in the Aberedw Rocks. Neighboring Cilmery is where it is said that he was finally beheaded, before his head was taken to be displayed on London Bridge.
